Terms of Use
Effective date:
These terms are an agreement between you and Faisal Ibrahim Alnaseri Establishment, a sole proprietorship registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ("we", "us"), for your use of the GAT Study mobile and web app (the "app") and the website gatstudy.com. By using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
1. The app
GAT Study is a study app for the GAT, the English version of the General Aptitude Test used for admission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It offers practice questions, explanations, timed practice tests and progress tracking.
2. No affiliation
GAT Study is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC), Qiyas or any other official body. Test names are used only to describe what the app helps you prepare for, and belong to their owners. The app's practice tests imitate the format of the real test; they are not official tests and their results are not official scores.
3. Your account
You can use parts of the app without an account, and sign in with Google or Apple to save your progress and use it on other devices. Keep access to your Google or Apple account secure: you are responsible for what is done through your account. The app is not directed at children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms for you.
4. Subscriptions and free trial
- Some features need a paid subscription. The plans, their prices and billing periods are shown in the app and in the store before you buy.
- New subscribers may be offered a 7 day free trial where the store allows it. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged at the end of the trial. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price then in effect, unless you turn off auto renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your store account is charged within the 24 hours before renewal.
- Payment is taken by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) through your store account, and their terms apply to the purchase. We never receive your payment card details.
- To cancel, open your subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies, and we cannot issue them ourselves. To ask for a refund, contact the store you bought from.
- If a price changes, the store tells you in advance as its rules require, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
- If you change devices, sign in with the same account and use Restore purchases in the app.
5. Content and accuracy
We write and review the questions and explanations with care, but they may contain mistakes, and the real test may differ in content, format or difficulty. The app is a study aid, and we do not guarantee any score, admission or other result. If you find a mistake, please report the question in the app so we can correct it.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, sell, publish or share the app's questions, explanations or other content outside the app;
- scrape, download in bulk or otherwise extract content from the app, its server or the website;
- get around the subscription, the free trial limits or any other restriction, or share a subscription in a way the store does not allow;
- reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app, except where the law allows it;
- disrupt or overload the app or our server, or misuse question reports; or
- use the app in any way that breaks the law or the rights of others.
7. Our content
The app, the website and their content (including questions, explanations, design and software) belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non exclusive, non transferable licence to use the app for your own study, for as long as you follow these terms.
8. Other services
The app relies on services from other companies, such as Apple, Google and RevenueCat, whose own terms apply when you use them. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and is a third party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account from Settings in the app. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. We may also change or stop parts of the app; if we stop a paid feature, your store's refund rules apply.
10. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on the content. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and tell you in the app about significant changes. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute that we cannot settle together will be decided by the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
